McDonald's and Goodwill in the same day??

What am I, a NEWT?!

Just kidding, just kidding.

(yes, seriously, kidding.)

My younger sister-in-law is obsessed with thrift store and antique store shopping and bargain buys. She has a closet full of adorable clothes and accessories that cost her a total of like $19.34.

So anyway, yesterday the Westlake children got together so I could shoot some 18-month-old photos of Garrett and some family photos for Aimee. After the shoot, we grabbed some McDonald's for lunch and had a delicious feast back at our place.

Then Alayna, Evan and I hit up the new Goodwill about 2 minutes from our house. It was actually really nice! I got a kick out of Alayna telling me all about all of the Goodwill specials that go on.

And the trip was not in vain. All three of us made a purchase, including a super cute pair of black strappy sandals for yours truly!
